Tammy Franks is the Child Passenger Safety Coordinator for Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, Oregon. Tammy has been active in the Child Passenger Safety field for 17+ years. Under her leadership, the Child Passenger Safety Program has expanded its outreach to include a NICU program, special needs transportation evaluations, car safety seat distribution program, a community fitting station and a recycling program.
Tammy is a member of the National Child Passenger Safety Board and serves as co-chair of the Quality Assurance Committee. She, also, is co-vice-president of KIDZ IN MOTION and a board member of SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. Tammy serves as the State Child Passenger Safety Co-Coordinator for Oregon and the Board Chair for Safe Kids Oregon.
KIDZ IN MOTION, Oregon Transportation Safety Commission, and the Washington State Safety Restraint Coalition have recognized Tammy for her contributions to Child Passenger Safety.
